It was hard for me to select just one dessert from the variety offered because I vowed ahead of time that I would limit myself to just one item. My entree consisted of tender turkey breast with gravy and stuffing, fresh baby green beans and a large, nicely seasoned slice of stuffed sweet potato. I chose the Chow Chow and cucumber salad, both of which were very tasty and knowledgeably prepared. She knew what items to choose, and she loved every morsel. His favorite items were the fried chicken and the tender, succulent shredded roast beef. He enjoyed the variety and freshness of the extensive salad bar offerings. After 30 minutes or so, they asked if we wanted to split up. I was told that they didn't have a table and it should be another 20 minutes. We arrived at the restaurant a few minutes early and I went to the counter to check in. overwhelmed, which was understandable considering the restaurant was packed! But we all got our food, it was hot, and we enjoyed our time.My only complaint is, we had a party of 11, and I called over a month in advance to make a reservation.
